Pride Parade 2009
March with the Four A’s in the Pride Parade
Saturday, June 20, 2009 10:15 a.m.
Meet at 8th and D Street
Red is the color used to show support for HIV awareness and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, not the color of intolerance. Join the Four A’s Pride Parade marching unit this year, where we will be wearing red t-shirts and carrying signs with our theme:
ABT: Anything But Tolerant
We’re taking the red shirt back and showing that stigma, of any kind, does not promote a strong community of belonging, hope and acceptance. Wear your red shirts, and join us on Saturday, June 20th. We’ll meet at 10:15 a.m. at 8th and D Street, the parade starts at 11 a.m.
