One of the best things you can do for yourself or your partner(s) is to KNOW YOUR STATUS. The peace of mind of knowing you’re being safe is priceless and it can save your life. Not to mention that in the event someone does become infected with HIV, the sooner it is diagnosed, the better their options for treatment. Be safe and get tested regularly. How regularly is necessary? That depends on your sexual lifestyle and habits. If you’ve been tested and are in a strong monogamous relationship, then you don’t need to get tested nearly as often as someone who is single and sexually adventurous.
