All Alaskans infected with HIV and their family members are eligible for case management services. Case Management Staff (CMS) work with clients and family members to assess their resources and strengths and to evaluate the client's natural support network. Together, they analyze present unmet needs and possible future needs and strategize how to best address those needs. CMS work with clients and collaboratively with other agencies to ensure a client's coordinated access to needed health and social services.
