Sarah Carter-Pierce was diagnosed with AIDS in October 2000. She contracted it from a blood transfusion. Her doctor gave her less than five months to live. She planned her own funeral and prepared for what she thought was the inevitable. She also started on treatment, and when she started feeling a little better, began volunteering for the Four A's. Today, Sarah is still alive and well and an employee of the Four A's prevention department. Click here to watch her PSA
