REAL AIDS PREVENTION PROJECT
RAPP is a community-based program that relies on peer outreach, small group activities, culturally appropriate reading material and support of local organizations and businesses to help women, especially African-American, Hispanic and other ethnic minority women, and their partners reduce their risk for HIV transmission by using condoms consistently.

The Core Elements of the RAPP Program are:
  • To develop and run a peer volunteer network
  • Conduct peer encounters
  • Recruit and maintain a community network
  • Hold small group activities
  • Develop a social marketing campaign that includes role model stories
