The Anchorage Men’s Project (AMP) empowers young gay, bi, queer and curious guys to build a better community for themselves and their friends in Anchorage. If you're a gay/bi/queer/questioning man between the ages of 18 and 29, AMP is for you.
Whether you're in need of answers and support or simply looking to relax and meet new friends, AMP provides a safe outlet to express who you are, to share your ideas and your questions, and to plan and participate in events. Discover an inclusive social environment, free of judgment, where you will be empowered to make healthy choices in your life and relationships.
AMP is based on the Mpowerment model, which is an established HIV prevention intervention for young gay/bisexual men. Through fun and engaging biweekly events, AMP offers culturally relevant education about HIV transmission, as well as practical tools for risk reduction, empowering participants to increase their sexual health and to engage in informal outreach in their communities.
AMP gathers twice each month. Find the most current information on our Facebook Page. Join us!
